We all know about the UCLA football Bruins, but we don't know much about their coach Rick Neuheisel, former UCLA quarterback.  I interviewed him to ask him about his life, football, and sports.

Rick was born on February 7, 1961, in Madison, Wisconsin. Before being the head coach for the UCLA Bruins he was the offensive coordinator for the NFL's  Baltimore Ravens in 2007, after serving as a quarterback coach for two seasons. He was previously the head coach of the Colorado Buffalos and the Washington Huskies, two college teams.

Question #1: Who is your favorite football team and why?
When I was a kid my favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers because my parents were born in Wisconsin, but now the Baltimore Ravens because I was the offensive coordinator for them.

Question #2: What did you like about being the offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens?
I liked the players like Ray Lewis and Steve McNair and the rest of the players and staff.

Question #3: Why did you want to be the coach of the UCLA Football Bruins?
Because I went to school at UCLA and played for the football team.  I had to take the offer because it was too good to be true.

Question #4:  Did you play any sports when you were a kid? If so, what sports?
I played Football, Basketball, Baseball, and golf. In the summer I would have to go to game to game to game...(pretty busy)

Question #5: What is your advice for young kids who want to go to the NFL?
Study hard because the NFL looks for how well you did in school.  And always practice hard.

How To Train Your Dragon is your family fun-filled movie about a not-so-barbarian viking boy named Hiccup whose dad is the chief of the vikings.

As you can imagine, that would be very hard, and it was. He captures the most dangerous and deadliest dragon of all the night fury and he doesn't want his father to see his catch, but eventually, that is going to be impossible. When he catches it, his dad wants to kill it, but Hiccup doesn't want him to.

To find out what happens, watch How To Train Your Dragon at your local movie theatre or wait for the DVD!

In March, Dreamgirls the musical came to Los Angeles.

The musical starred Syesha Mercado, Chaz Lamar Shepherd, Chester Gregory, Adrienne Warren, Trevon Davis, Margaret Hoffman, and Milton Craig Nealy.

The musical is about 3 African-American girls: Deena, Effie, and Lorrell (Syesha Mercado, Adrienne Warren, and Moya Angela) and their journey as they become famous singers.

It is based on the true story about Diana Ross and the Supremes.

The musical starts as Deena, Effie, and Lorrell are competing as a group called the Dreams in a singing and dancing competition. Soon the Dreams have their name changed to the Dreamettes and Effie gets fired because of her attitude.

Dreamgirls featured over 50 different costumes and wigs.

Review of the Musical Chicago

editorial/review by Lucia

On May 2, I went to see a production of the musical
Chicago at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. It was a great musical put on wonderfully by the beautiful Pantages Theatre.

It was set in Chicago, Illinois, in the 1920s and was about two women named Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart who are in jail for committing murder.

Although not the most appropriate musical for young children, I would recommend
Chicago to almost anybody who enjoys musical theatre. It has an amazing score by Kander and Ebb, and features the original Bob Fosse choreography from the first-ever Broadway production.

It stars Michelle Williams as Roxie Hart and Terra C. MacLeod as Velma. The cast also includes Tom Riis Farrell as Amos Hart, Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn, Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
